Vitamins
The gel contains a variety of vitamins. Most important are the antioxidants – vitamin C, E and Beta carotene – forerunner to vitamin A. Aloe is also one of few plants that contains vitamin B12.

Minerals

The Aloe plant has a multiple of minerals such as; magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper, chrome, calcium, sodium and iron.

Amino acids

The human body needs 22 amino acids to produce proteins. The Aloe Vera gel contains 20 of these. Most important is that the gel contains seven out of eight essential amino acids that can not be produced by the body it self and thereby must be provided.

Sugar

The Aloe Vera contains the essential long chains of polysaccharides that improves the immune defence and increases oxygen absorption.

Enzymes

There are substances in Aloe Vera - Lipase and Protease – that helps the body to digest food. Also there is caroxypepitedius which affects the inflammation process.

Plant Steroids

The Aloe contains the main groups that has powerful anti inflammatory components.

Lingnibu
This wood substance gives the Aloe its ability to penetrate deep into the skin.

Saponin
The Aloe has soap substances with strong anti-microbe effect on bacteria, virus and fungus such as Candida.

Anthraquinones
The most important being Aloin and Emodin. These components are strongly pain relieving and well known to counteract bacteria and virus. Anthraquinones are in pure form strongly laxative.

Salicylic acid
This aspirin type of component counteracts inflammations and helps to dissolve dead tissue when applied external.
